Gray Magazine is a wonderful publication that covers art, design, renovations, and remodels in the Pacific Northwest. Interior designers from Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia have been featured in their pages and I’m honored to have been selected for a second piece!
The article, “Design Redux“, dives into the renovation of the Hilltop House, a 1950s daylight ranch in Portland’s Council Crest neighborhood. We were able to work with the bones of the house to create an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and uncover stunning views of the magnificent west facing view. Gray does a great job of telling the story of the transformative remodel and highlighting a few of my favorite pieces including a reclaimed wooden dining table, vintage chairs in a Designer’s Guild teal silk, patterned wallpapers, and a pair of pendant lights we rescued from an industrial dairy farm in Oregon!
