Wonderful interiors do not appear fully formed—they require research, insight and experience to design, and they demand sweat, time and effort to be built properly. Lynne’s goal is to help you create something both from your imagination—and beyond it. The best homes and environments are impossible to imagine any other way.
Good storytellers have to be good listeners, and good listening is a skill that requires curiosity, empathy and focus. Whether the project is business or residential, fully understanding the client and their needs requires thoughtful research and excellent listening.
Lynne has a wonderful eye for design. We have enjoyed working with her and handover all trust to her process and approach. Most importantly she listens to our needs and always finds the most painless way of solving problems.
Not only does Lynne possess all the skills one would expect in an interior designer (fresh ideas, an eye for color and a good sense of space to name just a few) but she has talents that I had not considered as valuable before the project started.Lynne has a wonderful personality and this enables her to connect and communicate with both clients and retailers in a warm, friendly and highly productive manner. She has used her charm to negotiate some great deals, organize expedited deliveries and get answers to questions that I was unable to secure on my own. She has also chased down furniture items, fabrics and lighting when other designers might have suggested we give up and go another route. When I saw something I liked in a copy of Architectural Digest, she made contact with the designer of the featured house and found out all sorts of useful information during the course of a friendly chat. She listens well. She always respects the needs and wants of the client but is not afraid to step in if she thinks you are making a terrible mistake. I particularly love that Lynne helped me to step outside my comfort zone. The results have been spectacular. I have been delighted with all work to date and look forward to a continued relationship with Lynne.
Lynne met with us in our home and asked very thoughtful questions about our favorite places, likes, and dislikes. At our next meeting she presented boards for each room showing furniture arrangement and some fabric recommendations for recovering our older furniture as well as recommendations for window coverings. We are particularly pleased with her idea to paper one wall in our dining room and one in our guest room. Both look fantastic! Lynne is fun to work with and has a gift for seeing the potential in a space.
We chose Lynne to design our kitchen after having met with a couple of designer/architect teams. She came recommended from a contractor and took more than just aesthetics into consideration in her design plan. She considered our growing family's needs, our budget constraints and best use of the space. We are looking forward to moving into the next phase of the project and bringing her vision to life. →
