The modern master suite is no longer an afterthought in contemporary home design. Our busy, hectic world demands relaxation and a spacious, luxurious bathroom just steps away from your bedroom is an essential sanctuary. Whether you are transforming an unused bedroom into a spa-like retreat, or simply adding polish to an existing space, the impact of a timeless and beautiful bathroom cannot be ignored.

In the Hilltop House, an unused bedroom and bathroom were combined to form a true master suite oasis. The ceilings were vaulted and double French doors were added to create a light and airy feeling throughout the room, while custom black shutters and doors add a bit of drama and architectural interest to the space. The centerpiece of the room, a contemporary Victoria + Albert Napoli tub, is complemented by a spacious walk-in shower and herringbone heated floors, both in Arabescato carrara marble.

In the Hoyt House master suite, the timeless appeal of a claw foot tub is paired with clean, sleek accents. As in the rest of the house, these elements create a fresh, modern look while reflecting the home’s unique historic heritage. Contemporary floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall mirrors, spacious double vanities, and a walk in shower bring beautiful functionality into the space.
